What is Uterine Prolapse Scan?
A Uterine Prolapse Scan is an ultrasound imaging procedure used to assess and diagnose uterine prolapse, a condition where the uterus descends from its normal position into or beyond the vaginal canal. This scan provides detailed visuals of the pelvic organs, including the uterus, bladder, and rectum, to evaluate their positions and detect abnormalities.
Typically, the procedure involves transabdominal and/or transvaginal ultrasound. A transabdominal scan involves placing a probe on the lower abdomen, while a transvaginal scan uses a probe inserted into the vaginal canal for closer visualization. The ultrasound may assess the degree of prolapse and the function of surrounding structures during activities like straining or coughing.
The scan is painless, non-invasive, and crucial for planning treatment options, which may include physical therapy, pessary placement, or surgery. It provides real-time imaging, ensuring accurate diagnosis and tailored management of the condition.

Important Appointment Guidelines:
Kindly arrive at least 15 minutes before check-in and preparation. Late arrivals could be subjected to a 30% additional charge.
If you are more than 15 minutes late or fail to appear, your appointment will be cancelled and you will be charged a 10% cancellation fee.
If you are unable to attend, please reschedule at least 2 hours in advance through the Flabee Care app. You may reschedule up to three times at no extra cost.
Cancellation policy:
a) Cancel 2 hours before the scheduled appointment: No cancellation fee
b) Late cancellation/ No-Show will be subject to a 10% cancellation fee
Waiting times may be up to 60 minutes from your scheduled appointment as we prioritise attentive care.
All refunds will be transferred back as Flabee Credits for your subsequent purchase. No withdrawal of Flabee Credits is allowed.
After attending your appointment, you will earn 1 Flabee Point for every Ringgit spent, which may be used to exchange for exclusive vouchers.
Booking Confirmation:
Once your payment is successful, you will receive a confirmation email from us. Please check your spam folder. If you do not receive a confirmation email, it means your booking was not successfully processed. Please try to book again or contact our Customer Service for assistance.
Digital Delivery:
All reports, images, and videos will be sent through the Flabee Care app within 3-5 working days.
Additional Options:
Printed images (RM2-5 per sheet).
If a radiologist report is required, an additional charge of RM25 per section applies. (Please inform the sonographer before your scan if you need this report.)
