What is Small Part Scan?

A small part scan ultrasound is a specialized imaging technique used to evaluate smaller, superficial structures of the body with high-frequency sound waves. This type of ultrasound provides detailed images of soft tissues, making it ideal for examining organs or structures such as the thyroid gland, salivary glands, lymph nodes, testes, breasts (in some cases), or superficial masses.

Small part scans are non-invasive, painless, and provide real-time visualization, enabling the detection of abnormalities like cysts, nodules, inflammation, tumors, or vascular issues. High-frequency transducers (7-18 MHz) are typically used, as they offer superior resolution for shallow tissues.

This procedure is commonly requested for diagnostic purposes or to guide fine-needle aspiration biopsies in specific areas. Its ability to provide detailed imaging with no radiation exposure makes it a widely used and safe diagnostic tool for evaluating small anatomical structures.

NOTICE:

  • For Sabah/Sarawak, please book at least 24 hours in advance.

Important Appointment Guidelines:

  • Kindly arrive at least 15 minutes before check-in and preparation. Late arrivals could be subjected to a 30% additional charge.

  • If you are more than 15 minutes late or fail to appear, your appointment will be cancelled and you will be charged a 10% cancellation fee.

  • If you are unable to attend, please reschedule at least 2 hours in advance through the Flabee Care app. You may reschedule up to three times at no extra cost.

  • Cancellation Policy

    a) Cancellations made at least 2 hours before the appointment: No cancellation charges.

    b) Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the appointment: A 10% cancellation fee will be charged.

    c) No-shows without cancellation: Deposit will be forfeited.

  • Waiting times may be up to 60 minutes from your scheduled appointment as we prioritise attentive care.

  • All refunds will be transferred back as Flabee Credits for your subsequent purchase. No withdrawal of Flabee Credits is allowed.

  • After attending your appointment, you will earn 1 Flabee Point for every Ringgit spent, which may be used to exchange for exclusive vouchers.

  • Prices does not include consultation services. Consultation services are available at non-HQ outlets for a separate fee.

Booking Confirmation:
Once your payment is successful, you will receive a confirmation email from us. Please check your spam folder. If you do not receive a confirmation email, it means your booking was not successfully processed. Please try to book again or contact our Customer Service for assistance.

Digital Delivery:

  • All pictures, videos, and reports will be sent via the Flabee Care app within 3–5 working days. Radiology reports are available upon request and are subject to extra charges.

Additional Options:

  • Printed images (RM2-5 per sheet).

  • If a radiologist report is required, an additional charge of RM25 per section applies. (Please inform the sonographer before your scan if you need this report.)
