What is NT Scan?
The NT scan, or Nuchal Translucency scan, is an important prenatal screening typically performed between 11 and 14 weeks of pregnancy. This ultrasound measures the thickness of the nuchal fold at the back of the fetus's neck. Increased thickness can indicate a higher risk of chromosomal abnormalities, such as Down syndrome. During the scan, a trained sonographer will take precise measurements and assess the fetus's development.
Additionally, the scan often includes an assessment of the fetus's nasal bone and the presence of other markers that could suggest genetic conditions. The NT scan is non-invasive and is usually combined with a blood test to enhance risk assessment. While it doesn’t provide a definitive diagnosis, it can help expectant parents make informed decisions regarding further testing and prepare for any necessary support. It's a crucial step in monitoring fetal health and development during early pregnancy.

Before booking an NT scan, please ensure that you know your estimated due date to schedule the screening at the right time. NT scan is only suitable for pregnancies between 11 weeks and 13 weeks 6 days to ensure the best results are obtained during this period. Image accuracy may be affected if the scan is performed outside the recommended timeframe.
Important Appointment Guidelines:
Kindly arrive at least 15 minutes before check-in and preparation. Late arrivals could be subjected to a 30% additional charge.
If you are more than 15 minutes late or fail to appear, your appointment will be cancelled and you will be charged a 10% cancellation fee.
If you are unable to attend, please reschedule at least 2 hours in advance through the Flabee Care app. You may reschedule up to three times at no extra cost.
Cancellation policy:
a) Cancel 2 hours before the scheduled appointment: No cancellation fee
b) Late cancellation/ No-Show will be subject to a 10% cancellation fee
Waiting times may be up to 60 minutes from your scheduled appointment as we prioritise attentive care.
All refunds will be transferred back as Flabee Credits for your subsequent purchase. No withdrawal of Flabee Credits is allowed.
After attending your appointment, you will earn 1 Flabee Point for every Ringgit spent, which may be used to exchange for exclusive vouchers.
Booking Confirmation:
Once your payment is successful, you will receive a confirmation email from us. Please check your spam folder. If you do not receive a confirmation email, it means your booking was not successfully processed. Please try to book again or contact our Customer Service for assistance.
Digital Delivery:
All images will be sent via Flabee Care app within 3-5 working days.
Optional:
Printed photos available at only RM2-5 per photo
Repeat Scan Policy
A repeat scan may be needed if the image quality is affected by certain factors. This includes differences in machine types, low amniotic fluid, a thick abdominal layer, or the baby’s position—such as hiding behind the uterus, being blocked by the placenta, or not cooperating by covering the face.
Note: For appointments made after 1st March 2025, the repeat scan charge will be increased from RM10 to RM20.
