IUD (Intrauterine Device) Removal Consultation & Procedure

IUD removal is a simple procedure to safely take out the intrauterine device from the uterus. This may be done when the device has reached the end of its effective duration (3–10 years depending on type) or earlier if you wish to discontinue use. Fertility typically returns quickly after removal.

During this appointment, our doctor will:

  • Provide a consultation to assess your condition and reason for removal.

  • Explain the removal procedure and what to expect.

  • Perform the IUD removal procedure safely and gently.

The procedure is quick (usually 10–15 minutes) and most women can return to normal activities shortly after.

Suitable for:

  • Women who have reached the recommended duration of use.

  • Women planning for pregnancy.

  • Women experiencing side effects or discomfort.

  • Women who wish to switch to another contraceptive method.

Note: A consultation is required before removal to ensure safety and proper assessment.

NOTICE:

  • For Sabah/Sarawak, please book at least 24 hours in advance.

Important Appointment Guidelines:

  • Kindly arrive at least 15 minutes before check-in and preparation. Late arrivals more than 15 minutes after the appointment time could be subjected to a 30% additional charge.

  • If you do not show up, your appointment will be cancelled and the booking fee will not be refunded.

  • If you are unable to attend, please reschedule at least 2 hours in advance through the Flabee Care app. You may reschedule up to three times at no extra cost.

  • Waiting times may be up to 60 minutes from your scheduled appointment as we prioritise attentive care.

  • After attending your appointment, you will earn 1 Flabee Point for every Ringgit spent, which may be used to exchange for exclusive vouchers.

  • Prices does not include consultation services. Consultation services are available at non-HQ outlets for a separate fee.

Booking Confirmation:
Once your payment is successful, you will receive a confirmation email from us. Please check your spam folder. If you do not receive a confirmation email, it means your booking was not successfully processed. Please try to book again or contact our Customer Service for assistance.

Digital Delivery:

  • All pictures, videos, and reports will be sent via the Flabee Care app within 3–5 working days. Radiology reports are available upon request and are subject to extra charges.

Additional Options:

  • Printed images (RM2-5 per sheet).
