IUD (Intrauterine Device) Consultation & Insertion

An Intrauterine Device (IUD) is a small, T-shaped contraceptive device placed inside the uterus by a trained healthcare professional to prevent pregnancy. It is one of the most effective long-term birth control methods, offering protection for 3–10 years depending on the type.

During this appointment, our doctor will:

  • Provide a consultation to determine if an IUD is suitable for you.

  • Explain the different types of IUD (hormonal or copper).

  • Perform the IUD insertion procedure if appropriate.

The procedure is quick (usually 10–15 minutes) and most women can return to normal activities shortly after.

Suitable for:

  • Women seeking long-term contraception.

  • Women who prefer a reversible birth control option.

  • Women who want low-maintenance contraception.

Note: A consultation is required before insertion to ensure suitability and safety.

NOTICE:

  • For Sabah/Sarawak, please book at least 24 hours in advance.

Important Appointment Guidelines:

  • Kindly arrive at least 15 minutes before check-in and preparation. Late arrivals more than 15 minutes after the appointment time could be subjected to a 30% additional charge.

  • If you do not show up, your appointment will be cancelled and the booking fee will not be refunded.

  • If you are unable to attend, please reschedule at least 2 hours in advance through the Flabee Care app. You may reschedule up to three times at no extra cost.

  • Waiting times may be up to 60 minutes from your scheduled appointment as we prioritise attentive care.

  • After attending your appointment, you will earn 1 Flabee Point for every Ringgit spent, which may be used to exchange for exclusive vouchers.

  • Prices does not include consultation services. Consultation services are available at non-HQ outlets for a separate fee.

Booking Confirmation:
Once your payment is successful, you will receive a confirmation email from us. Please check your spam folder. If you do not receive a confirmation email, it means your booking was not successfully processed. Please try to book again or contact our Customer Service for assistance.

Digital Delivery:

  • All pictures, videos, and reports will be sent via the Flabee Care app within 3–5 working days. Radiology reports are available upon request and are subject to extra charges.

Additional Options:

  • Printed images (RM2-5 per sheet).
