Implanon (Contraceptive Implant) Removal Consultation & Procedure


Implanon removal is a simple procedure to take out the contraceptive implant from the upper arm once it has reached the end of its effectiveness (up to 3 years) or if you wish to stop using it earlier. Fertility typically returns quickly after removal.

During the appointment, our doctor will:

       • Conduct a consultation to assess your condition and reason for removal.

       • Explain the removal procedure and what to expect.

       • Perform the implant removal under local anesthesia using a small incision.

The removal procedure is quick (about 10–20 minutes) and is usually well-tolerated. Most women can resume normal daily activities shortly after.

Suitable for:

        • Women who have reached the 3-year usage period.

        • Women planning for pregnancy.

        • Women experiencing side effects or wishing to change contraception methods.

• Women who no longer wish to use hormonal contraception.

Note: A consultation is required before removal to ensure safe and proper procedure.

NOTICE:

  • For Sabah/Sarawak, please book at least 24 hours in advance.

Important Appointment Guidelines:

  • Kindly arrive at least 15 minutes before check-in and preparation. Late arrivals more than 15 minutes after the appointment time could be subjected to a 30% additional charge.

  • If you do not show up, your appointment will be cancelled and the booking fee will not be refunded.

  • Please be informed that waiting time may range from 30 to 60 minutes from your scheduled appointment time, subject to availability and prior patients. We appreciate your patience and will attend to you once we are available.

  • If you are unable to attend, please reschedule at least 2 hours in advance through the Flabee Care app. You may reschedule up to three times at no extra cost.

  • After attending your appointment, you will earn 1 Flabee Point for every Ringgit spent, which may be used to exchange for exclusive vouchers.

  • Prices does not include consultation services. Consultation services are available at non-HQ outlets for a separate fee.

Booking Confirmation:
Once your payment is successful, you will receive a confirmation email from us. Please check your spam folder. If you do not receive a confirmation email, it means your booking was not successfully processed. Please try to book again or contact our Customer Service for assistance.

Digital Delivery:

  • All pictures, videos, and reports will be sent via the Flabee Care app within 3–5 working days. Radiology reports are available upon request and are subject to extra charges.

Additional Options:

  • Printed images (RM2-5 per sheet).
