What is full body screening for women?

Full-body screening for women using ultrasound is a non-invasive imaging technique that scans the entire body to assess internal organs and tissues for early detection of abnormalities or diseases. It uses high-frequency sound waves to produce images of soft tissues, organs, and blood flow without exposing the patient to radiation. Typically, this includes scanning the abdomen, pelvis, breasts, and thyroid to identify conditions such as tumors, cysts, liver or kidney issues, and gynecological problems.

For women, full-body ultrasound screening can be particularly useful in monitoring reproductive health, detecting breast and ovarian cysts or masses, and evaluating any abnormalities in the thyroid, liver, or kidneys. It’s often recommended as part of a preventive health checkup, especially for women with a family history of certain diseases. While effective for soft-tissue imaging, it’s generally combined with other screening methods, such as mammograms, for comprehensive results.

ATTENTION:

  • Please fast for at least 8 hours before the scan.

  • Ensure your bladder is full for a clearer scan.

  • For Sabah/Sarawak, please book at least 24 hours in advance.

Important Appointment Guidelines:

  • Kindly arrive at least 15 minutes before check-in and preparation. Late arrivals could be subjected to a 30% additional charge.

  • If you are more than 15 minutes late or fail to appear, your appointment will be cancelled and you will be charged a 10% cancellation fee.

  • If you are unable to attend, please reschedule at least 2 hours in advance through the Flabee Care app. You may reschedule up to three times at no extra cost.

  • Cancellation policy:

    a) Cancel 2 hours before the scheduled appointment: No cancellation fee

    b) Late cancellation/ No-Show will be subject to a 10% cancellation fee

  • Waiting times may be up to 60 minutes from your scheduled appointment as we prioritise attentive care.

  • All refunds will be transferred back as Flabee Credits for your subsequent purchase. No withdrawal of Flabee Credits is allowed.

  • After attending your appointment, you will earn 1 Flabee Point for every Ringgit spent, which may be used to exchange for exclusive vouchers.

Booking Confirmation:
Once your payment is successful, you will receive a confirmation email from us. Please check your spam folder. If you do not receive a confirmation email, it means your booking was not successfully processed. Please try to book again or contact our Customer Service for assistance.

Digital Delivery:

  • All images and videos will be sent via Flabee Care app within 3-5 working days.

Optional:

  • Print photos available (RM2-5 per sheet)

  • If a radiologist's report is required, there is a charge of RM25 per section (please inform the sonographer before the scan starts).
