This package is designed to assess your risk of stroke and cardiovascular disease through a combination of in-depth blood tests and a carotid artery ultrasound. It evaluates cholesterol levels, inflammation markers, and heart-related enzymes that may indicate early signs of arterial blockage or stroke risk. The package is suitable for individuals with a family history of stroke, high cholesterol, or lifestyle risk factors such as smoking or high blood pressure.

This Package Includes:

1. Lipid Profile & Cholesterol Ratios (10 parameters):

• Total Cholesterol

• HDL Cholesterol

• LDL Cholesterol

• VLDL Cholesterol

• Triglycerides

• Total/HDL Ratio

• Non-HDL Cholesterol

• LDL/HDL Ratio

• Triglycerides/HDL Ratio

• Atherogenic Index of Plasma (AIP)

2. Cardiac & Stroke Risk Markers:

• Homocysteine – Evaluates risk of heart disease and stroke

• High Sensitive C-Reactive Protein (HS-CRP) – Detects inflammation linked to heart attack and stroke

• High Sensitivity Troponin I (HS-Trop I) – Early indicator of heart injury or stress

3. Ultrasound Carotid Artery (Left & Right):

This ultrasound assesses the major arteries in your neck (carotid arteries), detecting plaque buildup or narrowing that could lead to stroke.

Details:

1. Sample Collection:

   • Available via home visit (RM50-150 transport fee applies)

   • Or collected during your ultrasound session at our center (with transport fee)

   • Ultrasound must be done at the center

2. Booking Requirements: Appointments must be made at least 3 days in advance

3. Time of Collection: 7.30am to 11.00am daily

4. Cancellation Policy: Fees are non-refundable for last-minute cancellations

Important Note - Home Visit or Center Option:

A transport fee of RM50-150 will be charged for home visits by our phlebotomist (the medical staff collecting your blood sample).
